Transformers 3: The Dark of the Moon (2011) movie synopsis

Here is the plot synopsis for the upcoming sci fi film “Transformers: The Dark of the Moon”, set for release on July 01, 2010 in Real D 3D And IMAX 3D. It is the third film in the Transformers film series, and sequel to Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The film is written by Ehren Kruger and directed by Michael Bay, and stars Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky, Josh Duhamel as Major William Lennox, John Malkovich as Sam's Boss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Carly, Hugo Weaving as Megatron (voice), Patrick Dempsey as Dylan, Ken Jeong, Frances McDormand as Marissa Faireborn, John Turturro as Simmons and Alan Tudyk as Dutch.

Movie synopsis “The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.”
