Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) is a forthcoming MMORPG video game based in the Star Wars universe. It is currently in development by BioWare Austin and will publish by Electronic Arts / LucasArts for Microsoft Windows. The game is scheduled for release on December 20, 2011.

SWTOR sets three hundred years following the actions in Knights of the Old Republic and the game will place gamers on either side of a huge combat among the Republic and the Empire. In SWTOR, gamers will discover an age thousands of years prior to the rise of Darth Vader when conflict among the Old Republic and the Sith Empire splits the galaxy. Gamers can select to play as Jedi, Sith, or a range of other classic Star Wars characters, defining their individual tale and deciding their trail down the light or dark side of the Force. Along the way, gamers will assist brave friends who will brawl at their side or perhaps let down them, based on the gamers’ actions. Gamers can also select to unite with friends to clash rivals and conquer unbelievable challenges.

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Game Features

Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions CE revealed the system specs for their highly anticipated shooter video game Battlefield 3 (BF3) for Microsoft Windows. The game is scheduled to be released on October 25, 2011 and the public beta will commence on September 29, 2011. While the minimum system requirements look like Battlefield 3 will run on most mid-level PCs and the recommended system requirements will require a hearty rig.

Id Software has released the system specs for its upcoming most anticipated FPS video game “Rage” for Windows. The game also supports Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and iOS. Rage will use the Id Software’s new OpenGL based id Tech 5 engine. The game is scheduled to release on October 04, 2011.

The game is set in the near future following an asteroid crashes Earth, leaving a devastated planet behind. You materialize into this harsh environment to find out people working to restore itself against such power as raider squad, mutants, and the Authority -a cruel government system that has a particular interest in you.

Rage - Preview

Hard Reset is a First Person Shooter video game for Microsoft Windows, developed by “The Flying Wild Hog”, a Polish developer that is comprised the members of the team behind Bulletstorm, and earlier developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive. The game is slated to release on Steam on September 13, 2011.

Hard Reset will feature a cyberpunk plot. It draws idea from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick. The game brings players to an unforgettable, dystopian future, with civilization on the edge of destruction, restricted to its last repute city and under continuous threat from the robotic hordes that intend to wipe out mankind. Only one city remains–the stronghold of Bezoar. It's here that main Fletcher takes to weapons against the robot hordes.

Trapped Dead is a strategy video game for the PC. The game was developed by Independent and published by Meridian4. In the game, a domestic virus spread infects the residents of a peaceful countryside, transforming its people into a mass of vicious zombies. Unluckily for two students taking a casual road trip, their appearance in the countryside results in a risky diversion that has them battle to stay alive.

Delivered in a 3rd person isometric sight, gamers plunge themselves in this dreadful setting as they fight the zombie crowd across a diversity of game surroundings such as the mall, trash heaps and prison that are packed with ambushes. Gearbox recently revealed hardware requirements for its upcoming first person shooter video game DUKE NUKEM FOREVER for PC system. It is a sequel to the 1996 game Duke Nukem 3D. The game is set for release in the USA on June 14, 2011.

Spiral Knights is an action adventure video game for PC system, release date to be announced later. The game is developed by Three Rings Design, Inc. and published by SEGA.

In the game, Spiral Knights have awoken on an alien world. Their equipment stores have been raided and their starship, The Skylark, will not recover from the crash. Now they must work together to survive on a journey that will take them to the very core of the world.

SEGA Europe Ltd. and SEGA of America, Inc recently revealed its upcoming digitaly downloadable video game Renegade Ops for PC. The game is developed by Avalanche Studios (SE) and its their first downloadable video game.

The game puts players in a mobile commando unit sent behind enemy lines to defeat Inferno, a madman intent on global domination. Defeat enemies across a range of stunning environments using a wide variety of vehicles, from dispersing electromagnetic shock waves to the deployment of a huge Gatling gun armed to the teeth. Players have the choice to fight alone in single player mode, team up offline with two-player split screen or join the dynamic 4-player online co-op experience. Blast your way through enemy lines by working together, or compete for achievements as you and your friends aim to top the online leader boards.

Art of Murder: Deadly Secrets is an upcoming adventure video game developed and published by City Interactive. The game is set for release on April 17, 2011 for PC.

Fallen Frontier is an action video game for PC system, release date to be announced later. The game is developed and published by Moonshot Games. Might & Magic Heroes 6 is an RPG video game published by Ubisoft for PC, set for release in March 2011. Battle: Los Angeles is a first-person shooter video game adaptation of the upcoming film Battle: Los Angeles. It will be made available on Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, and Steam. The game is being developed by Saber Interactive and published by Konami.

The game gives players the opportunity to relive the thrill of the movie as they fight alongside characters from the film to defend the city of Los Angeles from attacks from unknown forces in fast and frantic first-person shooter gameplay. Players assume the role of Corporal Lee Imlay, a Marine fighting against a worldwide alien invasion that has the city of Los Angeles as the major battleground and focal point for the game. Battle unique and varied enemies, using an arsenal of weapons throughout the game like an assault rifle, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, frag grenades, and a turret gun. Navigate the streets of Los Angeles avoiding fierce and relentless attacks. Fireburst is a racing video game for PC system, set for release in Q3 2011. The game is developed by ExDream and published by Zoo Games.

The game sends players into a fiery, four-wheeled adrenalin frenzy. Behind the wheel of numerous different racers, drivers get to speed along paved race courses or wicked off-road tracks, showing no respect for their rivals. Thanks to a novel boost system, opponents are kept at a distance in spectacular ways in various single and multiplayer modes. The element of fire prominently features in all special maneuvers. Serious Sam 3: BFE is the third in Croteam's wild and fast-paced shooter video game series, developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital for PC system.
