Soon Jesse is in over her head and grappling with the ultimate romantic paradox: what does a girl do when she meets "Mr. Right"… after already meeting the right guy? Ultimately, what Jesse discovers about love reflects what the audience discovers about the story itself: Things are not always what they seem. You've Got Mail movie trailer:

You've Got Mail, movie, posterMaybe it is not hard to imagine now that Fox books is owned by Joe or NY152! Well, when Joe finds this out at their first attempt to meet each other, he avoids to introduce his email identity to Katleen, but acts as if he was around the meeting place by coincidence. Katleen would think she had been stood up by her email friend NY152 not knowing this email friend is her biggest competitor ever! Now it is time for him to capture Katleens's heart as "Joe the competitor" instead of NY152 since he seems to be already in love with her! And he does so.

The chemistry between Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan is amazing, and the rest of the cast, have truly outdone themselves with their performances. The setting, the plot, the dialogues, the humor, and the music are all wonderful!

What Women Want is a romantic comedy film, directed by Nancy Meyers and starring Helen Hunt as Darcy McGuire, Marisa Tomei as Lola, Alan Alda as Dan Wanamaker, Ashley Johnson as Alexandra 'Alex' Marshall , Mark Feuerstein as Morgan Farwell, Lauren Holly as Gigi, Delta Burke as Eve, Valerie Perrine as Margo, Logan Lerman as Young Nick Marshall, Judy Greer as Erin, Sarah Paulson as Annie, Ana Gasteyer as Sue Cranston, Diana-Maria Riva as Stella, Lisa Edelstein as Dina, Loretta Devine as Flo and Bette Midler as Dr. J.M. Perkins.

What Women Want movie video:

What Women Want, movieThe movie starts out with a guy who lives each day to his Frank Sinatra records. He's crude and brash, but those baby blues are hard to resist. When he thinks he's about to be promoted, he learns that his boss hired a woman named Darcy for the job he desperately wanted. The first thing she does is assign a fun project for all her fellow advertisers-- try out several women's products and come up with a tag line for them. Nick is, of course, totally annoyed, but he does it anyway, falling in the bathtub after slipping on little bath pearls and electrocuting himself with a hair dryer. He can suddenly hear what women think. What he at first sees as a curse, a therapist tells him he's got a power most men dream of-- he knows what women want! So the story unfolds with Nick learning about the women in his life and even having an actual relationship with Darcy.

This is an entertaining movie filled with talented acting, laughs, and lighthearted suspense. The chemistry between Helen Hunt and Mel Gibson is great. Mel has a lot of fun with the role, that of a misogynist ad executive that eventually learns to become a new age sensitive guy. Hunt is good as well, starting off as a foil who eventually falls in love with him. Overall, it's a fun movie for an evening where you just want to sit back and be entertained.

In the movie, William Thacker is an English Man living in Notting Hill. He runs a travel bookstore. He has some friends and his sister, but since his wife left him for a man he claims looks exactly like Harrison Ford his life has been boring. Then one day things start to change. Anna Scott just happens to be in London doing a movie and stops into Williams’s bookstore to look around. Bumbling William accidently spills orange juice all over Anna's shirt. She goes to his flat, and there is where the romance starts. Unfortunately, Anna's famous Hollywood boyfriend (Alec Baldwin in a cameo role) comes to town and spoils everything before Anna and William can get their relationship off the ground. Months go by and William doesn't hear a word from Anna until she appears on his doorstep one day looking to hide from the paparazzi, which is obsessing over some scandalous photos of Anna that were recently made public.

Notting Hill movie trailer:

Notting Hill, movie, reviewBeing the kindhearted chap that he is, William lets Anna stay with him and their relationship picks up right where it left off. Then a media circus causes Anna to fly off the handle, and she treats William like crap and breaks his heart again. William tries to forget all about "the American," but he can't manage to move past his feelings for her. A lot of time passes (and the audience is treated to an awesome scene that shows William strolling through Notting Hill as the seasons change around him). Anna returns to London again, and William decides to give their relationship one more chance. He visits Anna on the set of her latest film and she hurts him yet again! In spite of all this, though, the film manages to wrap up with a very happy ending, which is romantic and wonderful.

Overall, this film is one of Julia's best works. She and Hugh Grant display very good chemistry on screen, and make the film very enjoyable. The music in the film is perfectly placed, and the actors and actresses come off as quite believable in all aspects. A definitely recommended movie for any occasion- an especially good date movie.
