Days of Thunder: Arcade is a racing video game for Xbox 360, release date to be announced later. The game is developed by Piranha Games and published by Paramount Digital Entertainment. In the game, teams players with Rowdy Burns as the latest recruit to hit the high-octane racing circuit. With Rowdy as their coach, players will learn to drop the hammer, hit the pit and trade paint with other cars. Rowdy Burns is voiced by Michael Rooker, known for his roles in "Mallrats," "Eight Men Out," "Cliffhanger," and of course, "Days of Thunder." As players advance, they'll compete against the characters from the film, each with AI designed to match their driving style and personality seen in the film.

Players will need to watch for Cole Trickle's reckless, aggressive driving, Rowdy Burns' ruthless, veteran skills and Russ Wheeler's hot head. To steer clear of otherwise unavoidable crashes, gamers can take advantage of the focus feature, which temporarily puts surroundings into slow-motion. The adrenaline soon kicks back into gear as players drop the hammer by drafting behind other cars and whipping past them to get an extra burst of speed.

There are four different modes - Quick Race, Time Trial, Career, with circuits of varying difficulty, and Derby Mode, where players are encouraged to deal as much damage as they can.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) is a fighting videogame developed by Namco and published by Namco Bandai. The game release date to be announced later.

It is the second game in the series to have a focus on tag battles rather than one-on-one bouts. The gameplay expands on the tag mechanics featured in the first Tekken Tag, allowing for extended tag combos and combined moves. New techniques include combined tag throws which, if timed properly, can be escaped from. Tag combos can now be done simultaneously with both characters participating in the combo at the same time. The game also inherits gameplay features from Tekken 6, such as "Bound" hits (hits that slam an airborne opponent to the ground and stun them so combos can be extended) and walled arenas. Stage design in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will allow characters to send their opponents through walls or down floors to new areas and continue the combo in the new area with their tag partner. Character-customization will also be featured. Features suggested by Harada include recording in Practice mode as well as a Tutorial to bring new players into the fold more smoothly than has been possible in the past. In a recent podcast, it was revealed by Harada that every playable character from Tekken 6 would be featured as returning characters.

King of Fighters XII video game has undergone a complete graphical face lift unique to its own style, reborn in high definition. Not only that, but this game supports up to 1080p. I have never played a fighter with such smooth response. It is pretty obvious that this years King of Fighters is focused on the fight.

The graphics are breathtaking. They are by no means conventional but look great in their own right. There is no storyline, but the majority of people play fighters for the action and online replay value. There have been some issues with the online performance, I tried online play starting out a lot of the matches I joined suffered from extreme lag and slow down. I could barely move my character without experiencing some slowdown, so then I would completely hate this game right? Wrong! Afterwards I decided to host a match myself. Players with a solid connection joined my match room, and the game played flawlessly online. After playing some matches with a decent connection, I finally realized the core aspect of this game, Arcade play! This game basically gives us the opportunity to play new opponents but in the comfort of our home without having to commute to our nearest arcade vendor. Given I have a solid internet connection and I understand not everybody does, I see the true potential of this game. Solid fighting engine fast paced fighting, and amazing character detail accompanied by their interesting personalities. I've always preferred the characters roster and theme of KOF over any Street Fighter title. I absolutely love this game when I can play against another opponent be it online or LAN. I do wish they added at least more convenient interface on the menus and a final boss, but that will come as a DLC from SNKP in the future.

tmnt, banner, xbox, liveThe Turtles are back with a brand new look in Turtles in Time Re-Shelled for Xbox Live Arcade, developed and published by Ubisoft was released on August 5th, and will also be released for the PlayStation Network later in the year. The game has been recreated in stunning 3D HD graphics and enhanced animations but still has all of the favorite moments and gameplay from the original. The game was originally built for arcades back in 1991 and eventually made its way to the Super Nintendo, and many a Ninja Turtle fan has fond memories of hacking and slashing through hordes of Foot soldiers with three of their buds. I'm going to guess they haven't played the game in almost 20 years, though, and their enthusiasm is being fueled purely by their nostalgia, because Turtles in Time has not aged well. There's nothing to it: hold right on your D-pad and mash the X button and you'll beat the game in half an hour. The beat 'em up genre has been kept alive with outstanding efforts like Castle Crashers that build on the foundation TMNT provided.

arcade, games, tmnt, turtles, attackThis time the Turtles have come up against some tough stuff in the past, but there's no comparison to what they're about to encounter. While sitting around the sewer watching television, Raphael, Donatello, and the crew witness a giant android ripping the Statue of Liberty from the ground, terrifying hundreds of tourists. Use pizza power-ups and huge body slams to make your way through history in an attempt to restore peace to the Big Apple.
