Buried is a Spanish indie thriller film directed by Rodrigo Cortes and written by Chris Sparling, and starring: Ryan Reynolds as Paul Conroy, Robert Paterson as Dan Brenner, José Luis García Pérez as Jabir, Stephen Tobolowsky as Alan Davenport, Samantha Mathis as Linda Conroy, Warner Loughlin as Donna Mitchell / Maryanne Conroy, Ivana Mino as Pamela Lutti and Erik Palladino as Special agent Harris. The movie is about a guy named Paul (Reynolds) a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After he’s attacked by a group of Iraqis he randomly wakes up to find himself buried alive inside a coffin! Armed with only a lighter and a cell phone he’s in a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.
