I wasn't expecting much from Nintendo Wii Sports Resort, to be honest. The original Wii Sports was a great little tech demo that didn't much show the power of the Wii remote as it did its potential. Enter Motion Plus, and now we have the game that Wii Sports should've been. The Wii motion does improve control in combination with the new software. Table Tennis in Sports was horrible and is much better now. Bowling provides a somewhat more realistic feel than in Sports. Golf is better too. For the new games sword fighting is much more fun than we thought it would be. The water and air sports are all nice additions. Basketball is simple in it's motion but still challenging. These 12 mini-games are fantastic. Simply put. They're all simple enough for a "pick up and play" quickie session, but they're also challenging enough that you'll easily find several hours have gone by without you noticing. Moreover, the graphics may look simplistic on the surface, but the textures and water effects are really good as well...better than most Wii games, in fact.
Overall, great game, great fun! Perfect for families and has a lot of different games to choose from so it never gets boring. A must have for all Wii owners.
