Angry Birds Rio is a puzzle video game developed and published by Rovio for Apple iPhone, inspired by the the blockbuster Angry Birds and the hit animated movie Rio. The game release date to be announced later.
In the game, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to to save their friends, Blu and Jewel -- two rare macaws and the stars of the movie Rio. Like the incredibly-popular original edition, Angry Birds Rio features hours of gameplay, physics-based demolition challenges and loads of replay value -- all with unique twists based on the feature film. Angry Birds Rio launches 45 dedicated levels and offers regularly-added new levels via app updates.
