Total War: Shogun 2 is a strategy video game for PC system, set for release on March 15, 2011. The game is developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA.
Total War: Shogun 2 picks up in 16th century Japan during the aftermath of the Ōnin War. Shogun 2 is about nine warring empires. The player takes on the role of one of nine of these warlords, each with a unique starting position and different political and military strengths. The scale is also different in terms of the presentation of the story. Instead of being the impersonal force guiding the destiny of your faction, the player actually plays as a person who has to negotiate the treacheries and loyalties of family politics.
