Motorola unveiled its new upcoming Android-based tablet computer at CES 2011 on January 5, 2011. It will be the first tablet to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb powerful Google Software developed specifically for tablet PCs. It is set for release in the first quarter of 2011. Motorola Xoom features front – and rear – facing cameras, a camcorder and Adobe Flash Player, all on a 10-1-inch widescreen HD display.

Google unveiled its first Smartphone the Nexus One, a new touch screen enabled handset produced in partnership with HTC. The phone will be based on the same open-source Android format, with its own unique user interface. Software-wise, the Nexus One will come loaded with an array of apps including YouTube, Google Maps with turn-by-turn GPS, web browsing, Gmail service, and direct access to the Android app marketplace.
