X-Men: First Class is a sci fi action film, set for release on June 03, 2011. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn, based on the characters appearing in Marvel Comics. It is the fifth installment of the X-Men film series and a prequel to the first three movies. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence as Raven Darkholme, James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier, January Jones as Emma Frost, Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr, Rose Byrne as Dr. Moira MacTaggert, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Oliver Platt as Man in Black, Lucas Till as Alex Summers, Zoë Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Morgan Lily as Young Raven Darkholme, Edi Gathegi as Armando Muñoz, Ray Wise as Secretary of State of the United States, Bill Milner as Young Erik Lehnsherr.

Movie synopsis: Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.
