Free Style also known as Metal Birding is an adventure / family movie written by Josh Leibner, Jeffrey Nicholson and directed by William Dear. Stars: Corbin Bleu as Cale Bryant, David Reivers as Dell Bryant, Matt Bellefleur as Derek Black, Jesse Moss as Justin Maynard, Sandra Echeverría as Alex, Penelope Ann Miller as Jeannette Bryant, Madison Pettis as Bailey Bryant, Martin Rattigan as Coby. The movie is set to be released on October 9th, 2009 (USA) by The Samuel Goldwyn Company, 20th Century Fox and Rigel Entertainment. The film is about a young man's determination to win a coveted spot on the Grand National motocross racing team. With the support of his loving mother (Penelope Ann Miller, Kindergarten Cop), precocious little sister (Madison Pettis, Seven Pounds, The Game Plan) and new girlfriend ( Sandra Echeverria, Telemundo's Marina), Cale proves against all odds that he has the heart, the willpower and the courage never to give up on his dream.
