Alice in Wonderland is a fantasy film directed by Walt Disney Pictures and visionary Director Time Burton, it is based on Lewis Carroll's famous story of Alice and her adventures in wonderland (1865) and ‘Through The Looking –Glass’ (1871).

Alice (Mia Wasikowska), now 19 years old runs off, following a white rabbit (Michael Sheen) into a hole and ending up in Wonderland where she meets such strange creatures as The Dormouse, who helps her through a keyhole into Wonderland; Tweedledum and Tweedledee, who tell the story of "The Walrus and the Carpenter"; The Caterpillar (Alan Rickman); The Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry) and the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) and the March Hare, who celebrate an unbirthday at their tea party. Finally Alice has a showdown with the Queen of Hearts and her army of playing cards. The whole thing becomes such a nightmare that Alice awakens from her dream to the recitations of her sister and the purring of her cat, Dinah.

The film is due for release on March 5, 2010 and the film will be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, as well as 2-D.
