Alice in Wonderland is an adventure video game developed by Etranges Libellules and published by Disney Interactive Studios for the Nintendo Wii and DS game console. Alice in Wonderland is set to be released on March 2, 2010. The game is inspired by Tim Burton's highly anticipated film starring Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Mia Wasikowska as Alice.

The game allows players to guide, protect and aid Alice as she journeys through the world of Underland while unraveling the game's many twisted mysteries. Along the way, players call on a diverse and unique cast of characters such as the Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat who each have unique abilities to help evade traps and solve challenging puzzles. The Mad Hatter can help Alice alter her perception of Underland and take advantage of optical illusions to open up places in the world the player alone would not have noticed. Meanwhile, the Cheshire Cat can use his ability to make himself and objects appear and disappear helping Alice through this strange world. Players must choose wisely when using each of the characters' powers and combine the abilities to solve more complex puzzles.

An extension on Lewis Carroll's original story, Alice, now 19, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to by a rich suitor in front of hundreds of snooty society types. She runs off, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited many years before yet doesn't remember. The White Rabbit claims to have come back for Alice because she is the only one who can slay the Jabberwock, the beast who guards the Red Queen's empire. Alice remains completely unaware of why she is in Wonderland, and is confused about the fact that she had once visited Wonderland years before. She then embarks on an adventure of self discovery and to save Wonderland from the Red Queen's reign of terror with the help of her Wonderland friends. Alice in Wonderland is a fantasy film directed by Walt Disney Pictures and visionary Director Time Burton, it is based on Lewis Carroll's famous story of Alice and her adventures in wonderland (1865) and ‘Through The Looking –Glass’ (1871).

Alice (Mia Wasikowska), now 19 years old runs off, following a white rabbit (Michael Sheen) into a hole and ending up in Wonderland where she meets such strange creatures as The Dormouse, who helps her through a keyhole into Wonderland; Tweedledum and Tweedledee, who tell the story of "The Walrus and the Carpenter"; The Caterpillar (Alan Rickman); The Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry) and the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) and the March Hare, who celebrate an unbirthday at their tea party. Finally Alice has a showdown with the Queen of Hearts and her army of playing cards. The whole thing becomes such a nightmare that Alice awakens from her dream to the recitations of her sister and the purring of her cat, Dinah.

The film is due for release on March 5, 2010 and the film will be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, as well as 2-D.
