It is a sequel to the 2007 movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks” , directed by Betty Thomas, Jason Lee, It stars Jason Lee in the lead role as David Seville, who traps between the naughty attitudes of three chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore. The other cast will be David Cross, Zachary Levi, Cameron Richardson.
This is one of those strange movies that has humor for all ages. Little kids will love it for the calming adventure and very fun layed back style. I used to love it for that but now I watch it when I'm older and realize there is more appeal to this than there once was. It is also filled with hidden adult type humor. The songs are so wonderful, catchy with lovable lyrics.
In the sequel, Dave makes Alvin, Simon, and Theodore go to school, saying it's "good for them." Little did he know, now the Chipmunks feel like "Chipmunks Out of Water" because of all the (human) kids around. Meanwhile, Ian (after the Chipmunks dealt him a serious blow) is freed from jail and searches the world for animals who can sing and dance. He finds the Chipettes and can't wait to make them famous and get back at the Chipmunks.
