Shutter Island is a thriller film based on the book of the same name by Dennis Lehane. In the film, Teddy Daniels, and his partner Chuck Aule, are U.S. Marshalls assigned to look for a mental patient that has disappeared on Shutter Island, the location of a high security mental hospital for violent criminals that is funded by the U.S. Government where they seem to be conducting strange and secret psychological experiments.
