Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy is a real time strategy video game developed by Ironclad Games and published by Stardock for the PC (Microsoft Windows). Sins of a Solar Empire Diplomacy is set to be released on February 09, 2010. It is the second and final micro-expansion pack for Sins of a Solar Empire. The first one, Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment, added new technologies and starbases to allow players greater military options in their conquest. By contrast, Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy, allows players the option to take on a more Machiavellian strategy towards victory.
With Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy, players get a new research tree that vastly expands the diplomatic options available to players. Computer controlled players, for instance, can become pawns in a greater game. The enhanced computer AI, however, can make back room deals as well with great subtlety.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy game features:
Faction Status: New faction status screen lets the player see what each faction thinks of one another and why.
New Trade Pacts: Factions can establish research, metal or crystal pacts with one another, giving a substantial boost to themselves and an ally.
Issue Missions: Players can now create and issue missions to other factions, adding a whole new dimension to competitive play.
Envoy Cruisers: New envoy cruisers give factions the ability to found embassies on homeworlds, or destabilize opposing governments.
New Technologies: 30+ technologies to research on the new Diplomacy tree.
Deadlier Pirates: Pirates are more fearsome than ever as they collect bounty awards on their targets.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy is a micro-expansion and requires the full version of Sins of a Solar Empire and Entrenchment to play.
