The Ghost Writer is an adaption of the Robert Harris novel The Ghost. The film is directed by Roman Polanski and written by Harris and Polanski (screenplay). Cast: Pierce Brosnan as Adam Lang, Ewan McGregor as his ghostwriter, Olivia Williams as Ruth Lang, Kim Cattrall as Amelia Bly, Timothy Hutton as Sidney Kroll, Tom Wilkinson as Paul Emmett, Jim Belushi as John Maddox, Robert Pugh as Richard Rycart. The Ghost Writer is set to be released in first half of 2010. The Ghost tells the story of a Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan), a former British Prime Minister who’s in the process of writing his memoirs. When the death of a colleague disrupts his life, a ghostwriter (Ewan McGregor) is called in to assist him in completing the book. But when the ghostwriter digs a little deeper into his subject’s life, he finds disturbing secrets that have far-reaching consequences.
